Hello! Thanks for checking out MiniEM. My name is Carolyn Geraci and I’m a PGY3 resident physician at Hennepin County Emergency Medicine. I completed medical school at The Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and am currently a chief resident at Hennepin County Emergency Medicine. I will be completing a medical education fellowship at Hennepin County after finishing residency. I created MiniEM to provide a free library of procedural education to emergency medicine physicians, especially those early on in their training.
Check out our written summaries on this website, and click through to our Youtube page to see video demonstrations of common emergency procedures. ➡️
I am grateful to my colleagues at Hennepin County Emergency Medicine for their help in the creation of these videos. Nothing on this website is meant to serve as medical advice, nor is it meant to represent the views of Hennepin Healthcare.

We are constantly adding more content. My goal is to eventually create a comprehensive library of all common emergency procedures to serve as a free reference for medical students, emergency medicine residents and attending physicians, as well as advanced practice providers and physicians in other specialties.
